Ireland: Day 1 – Dublin
26 February 2010 by Andy • 1 Commentso day 1 in Ireland was pretty much spent trying to not collapse on the streets of Dublin as we tried to make the most of our short time in this incredible city
after getting about 2 hrs of sleep over the course 24 it proved to be rather tough and we ended up crashing around 6pm and not getting up until 9:30am….ha, don’t judge. That enabled us to fully transition to the change of time and we were fine the rest of the week….so i suggest that when traveling, just power through and then crash hard….you will be fine
here are some of the shots i grabbed walking around that first day…the one touristy thing we did was to take a tour of the Guinness Storehouse which was awesome! Arthur Guinness signed a 9,000 year lease on that property over 250 years ago….what a genius and a dreamer. i like that…
His story is pretty awesome as I have been getting to know better reading through The Search for God and Guinness….great book that i would recommend to anyone…the Storehouse also had an awesome view of the city in their 360 degree glass room on the top floor
anywho, here are the shots:
