finally getting in to the swing of things again with senior portraits…even though i am a fan of the colder weather, it’s nice being able to feel my hands when holding the camera

I know Eric from the youth group I work with….he is a great musician and it’s been cool seeing him grow and mature these past 4 years
we have a huge class that’s going to be greatly missed and Eric has played a big part in all of that

he was also brave enough to allow me to try out my first attempt at true white seamless shots with him….i have put up the white seamless before, but never with the attempt of blowing it to pure white while shooting with 3 lights – (2 AB800 strobes and a vivitar 285 as my main)
this proved to be a little tricky and i have so much to learn…but i had a good time despite all that, feel as though we got some good shots, and am up for the challenge of learning new tricks

(and there’s a lot of them)

anyways, here is what we got…big thanks to Javi for assisting, Daniel for providing comical relief, and Stuart for shooting more video with the Mark II…that kid is good
