When I was first contacted by Jennifer back in 2009, I had no idea that photography would someday become a full time gig for me. In fact, I was responding to her emails as if she was getting married in 2009 until she gently replied, “Just wanted to make sure that you saw that the year for our wedding is 2011.” – ha. Well, I hadn’t noticed that but I knew that saying yes to this wedding would mean I would be committed to this whole photography journey.

I was referred to Jennifer and Scott through Jennifer’s brother, Scotland. I met Scot back in the summer of 2008 while helping lead a group of students on a mission trip in Philadelphia. Scotland was on summer staff, and we stayed connected ever since due to our shared interest in photography. It was such a joy to hang out with not only him again but his entire family. This wedding was well worth the two year wait!

The whole weekend was an incredible celebration of the life and love that Jennifer and Scott share. Many of the guests stayed at the JH Adams Inn in High Point, NC, which is also where the reception was held, while the ceremony was at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church in Winston-Salem.

Jennifer and Scott – thanks so much for letting me participate in such a fantastic weekend celebrating your wedding and marriage with all of your friends and family. I hope I get to see you and your families much sooner than later. Congratulations!

    Beautiful.

Of the thousands of photographers, so glad you were there to capture the day. Some of those portraits just came out wonderfully. Love your skills, my man. I hope we can shoot one of these together someday. At the very least, another stroll around a neighborhood.

  3. [...] A creative photographer, exceptional artist, active peacemaker, and man of much integrity and faith, my friend Andy Brophy shot my sister’s wedding two weeks ago. I’m excited to share my photos (soon! just finished developing them!), but he has just put up his, and I just couldn’t resist directing you to them. Check out the images here. [...]
