I first met Blair and Hunter when Blaire was a bridesmaid in a previous couple’s wedding, Katherine and Odie. Blair told me as the night was winding down, “You’re going to shoot my wedding someday!” Now I’ve had that happen before and then nothing come of it. However, I can’t tell you how excited I was when she reached out after her and Hunter were engaged and she asked if I would travel to Colorado in January to capture their wedding in the mountains. I’ve always dreamt of capturing a wintery, mountain wedding and did this one ever deliver!
Blair and Hunter were married at the incredible Della Terra Mountain Chateau that’s tucked just outside the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park. Not only is the venue stunning, but we experienced the most magical snowfall during their first look and portraits. I’m grateful they were willing to throw on their snow boots and stomp through a foot plus of snow to take advantage of some of the views.
