If you don’t know much about this little guy, let me tell you why I love it:
1. beautifully designed
2. sharp
3. settings are easy to control
4. small
I’ve been thinking of getting one for awhile but didn’t want to pull the trigger until I was able to get my hands on one for a short amount of time to really test and see how much I would shoot with it and how it would handle. While I still haven’t purchased one, it’s definitely on my “wish list”. I recently borrowed one from a friend while I traveled over to Ireland to shoot a wedding and I loved not going to my 5D Mark II and L-series glass to capture what was right in front of me. The Fuji x100s didn’t leave its place around my neck to make sure I didn’t miss anything. I also loved shooting with the Eye-Fi card so that I could quickly load them to my phone, edit in VSCOcam, and load to twitter, instagram, and Facebook.
Here are some of my favorites from my trip.
While in Dublin, I was able to connect with some incredible people from the film company Tiny Ark. They do great work and allowed me to chill and work from their office for a bit while in town. Hope to hang with them again soon – make sure to check out their work!
Meet Emma and Andy – such gracious hosts during the night I stayed in Dublin. This is them below and the frames above are taken from their place. Emma is a photographer and also works for Tiny Ark, mentioned above, while Andy does something really complicated involving the world and science because he’s a genius – ha. Thanks for hosting me so well and introducing me to the best gyro in Dublin!
