I’m so grateful whenever a couple and their families are generous enough to help make a way for my family to tag along with me for weddings that take me away for the weekend. James and Madison got married near her hometown in Fairhope, Alabama and they set it up for my family to stay at their place near the beach in Gulf Shores. When I wasn’t working I was able to hang with my family at the pool, beach, and enjoy some much needed time together as a busy fall wedding season was kicking off. We loved that area and hope to visit again soon!
I’ve known James for awhile now starting back when I was helping with the student group at Passion City Church and he was in high school. Once he got engaged, he reached out about shooting their engagement photos and wedding and I was so excited to serve them both. Since we used James’ VW Bus he had when I took his senior portraits, it was no surprise that he would figure out a way to incorporate one for their wedding day as well. With a killer property at Belforest Pointe, some great golden hour light, and a beautifully renovated VW Bus, I was geeking out over some of the portraits we captured that evening.
Thanks James and Madison for bringing me all the way out to the Gulf Shores area to capture your wedding and make some memories with my family. Grateful for you both!
