Late October days typically give way to mild temps and a bit of warmth still felt by the late fall sunshine, but this day provided more of that mid-winter chill that stings the skin a bit. However, Emily was an absolute champ in her gorgeous gown and the day couldn’t have been more memorable.

While every wedding has its memorable moments, there was a specific moment that took place that I will forever remember. I’ve helped set up and facilitate dozens of first looks and every single one is awesome and unique, but this one provided an image that will always be one of my favorites. As Hunter turned around, his face filled with emotion and tears and he immediately covered it up because he was just so stunned by the beauty of his bride. In order to hold in her own emotions and probably aide in saving her makeup a bit, Emily also covered her face. As you’ll see, this one shot perfectly summed up their entire day.

Hunter and Emily held their ceremony outside on Serenbe’s property located just outside of Atlanta. After taking advantage of the incredible light as well as a warm blanket for their wedding portraits, we headed over to the open pavilion to get their party started.

The day was completely full of laugher, tears of joy, and just true , raw celebration of two people becoming one.

Thank you Hunter and Emily for trusting me during this season from your engagement session to your wedding day. You were both incredible to work with and serve and I hope you treasure these images for the rest of your lives!
