Sope Creek Park provided the perfect backdrop for Katelyn and Nate’s engagement session. Since I’ve known Katelyn for so long because of my days in student ministry, I felt like I had a good idea as she unpacked her vision for the shoot when we arrived. I knew she basically wanted an “etherial-princess bride-lord of the rings-woodland kind of thing” – haha. At least that’s how she explains it to people now.
Despite being crazy humid, Katelyn and Nate were so comfortable and natural in front of the camera. By that I mean, they mostly just laughed and talked because they didn’t know what to do and I always tell couples that nobody knows what to do. However, as the shoot went on, they really did become more comfortable and we got some really beautiful, intimate shots.
Thanks Katelyn and Nate for trusting me to capture these moments and can’t wait for your wedding day!
