Before becoming a full time photographer in the fall of 2010, I was in student ministry for a little over four years. Gigi was one of the students I met and she was in my wife’s small group. Fast forward a lot of years, and her initial email read, “…ever since then, I dreamed of having you as my wedding photographer.” While I joke that it always makes me feel old when students I’ve known since they were in middle school get married or go on to have kids, I’m always so honored to participate in some of the biggest days in their lives.
Gigi and Cory held their ceremony at Prince of Peace Catholic Church followed by their reception at The Cotton Mill Event Venue in Jefferson, GA.
I had such a blast serving them and celebrating with them on their wedding day. It was also fun playing around with some double exposures in camera for the first time and incorporating the full moon into those shots.
Thanks Gigi and Cory for trusting me to capture your wedding day!
